Astrology is an interpretive divinatory art rooted in science and the observation of time. The practice of astrology gives us an opportunity to collaborate with the cosmos. Exploration of the natal chart and planetary transits can be incredibly supportive during times of instability or upheaval. Astrology affirms that we are complex creatures capable of contradiction and change. Archetypes are not static. It’s an animistic view of the universe as emergent, cyclical, and it supports the idea that everything exists as part of a greater whole.
Astrology holds the spiritual, the material and everything in between. I discovered traditional astrology early in my studies, and my practice is now a blend of traditional with some modern techniques. I use whole sign houses and the tropical zodiac. I work with some asteroids, fixed stars, and I use symbolic timing. The natal chart is like a mirror reflecting our material conditions, our innate talents, and our subconscious motivations.
